With the recent rash of spyware and adware infecting computers and networks across the Internet, many people have seen their hard drives crash. Additionally, with the release of Windows XP Service Pack 2 and Windows Vista, people have also seen their computers slow down to an unnacceptable speed.

A handful of our customers have experienced these same issues and have been smart enough to have a current backup in place. With a proper backup in place, they were able to install ezLien on a new or updated computer within 30 minutes.

A few of our customers recently have not had backups in place and have lost their financial and business documents (including ezSoftware).

Please have a backup system professionally installed today. Not tomorrow, TODAY. If you have a backup system in place, please ensure that you are able to recover data from your backup.

This past year, Microsoft has released numerous patches that cause our ezDMV and ezLien report writer to crash if Windows XP Service Pack 2 is not installed. Windows XP Service Pack 2 is now a requirement if you are using any of the ezSoftware products. If you don’t have it, please contact your network administrator.
